GENERAL INFORMATION – INFORMACION GENERAL

During high season in summer time JANUARY and FEBRUARY dive centers operate their dive center from Monday to Sunday. In general at 10:00 in the morning they meet with client and do their first dive around 10:·30. They return around 12:00. After lunch they conduct their second dive. Starting around 14:00 and ending around 16:00. At 17:00 the dive operation ends and the owner prepares his stuff for the next dive day

During low season (April – November) most dive centers in Chile operate only upon reservations with dives only on weekends except if there are some special holidays. Those weekends are in regular totally booked out so reserve your dive spot early enough. 2-3 weeks before such holidays.

Durante el verano de enero y febrero (temporada alta)  los centros de buceo  operarn  de lunes a domingo. En general, a las 10:00de la mañana se reúnen con los clientes y hacen su primera inmersión a las 10: · 30. Regresan alrededor de las 12:00. Después de la comida ellos realizan su segunda inmersión. A  partir de las 14:00 y terminan alrededor de las 16:00. A las 17:00 termina la operación de buceo y el dueño prepara sus cosas para el siguiente día de inmersion.

Durante la temporada baja (tiempo de otoño, invierno y primavera) la mayoría de los centros de buceo en Chile operan con reservacion anticipada con las inmersiones sólo los fines de semana, excepto si hay algunas fiestas especiales. Estos dias especiales son totalmente reservados y te recomendamos que  lo reserves su espacio de buceo a tiempo. Por lo general: 2-3 semanas antes de las vacaciones seria recomendable reservar el buceo.

WATER – AGUA

The pacific is cold. It is highly recommended to use a semi-dry suit or a dry suit for diving. You can use a regular wetsuit but you will be freezing guaranteed.

Se recomenda usar un traje semi-seco o traje seco para bucear. El pacifico es muy frio.
